Desert Herbal Steam Blend

Mullein • Peppermint • Thyme • Sage • Juniper • Rosemary

There are moments when the desert itself seems to exhale.

Vapor del Desierto was created for those moments—a small-batch blend of aromatic herbs meant to be steeped in hot water, allowing their warmth and fragrance to rise with the steam.

Mullein, peppermint, thyme, sage, juniper, and rosemary come together in a blend that smells green, resinous, cooling, and deeply reminiscent of the high desert after rain.

This is not a tea.

It is an invitation to make a bowl of steaming herbs, bring your face near enough to feel the warmth, close your eyes, and spend a few quiet moments with the vapor.

🌿 The Plants

Mullein brings the soft, quiet presence at the heart of the blend.

Peppermint offers its unmistakable cool, fresh aroma.

Thyme contributes an herbaceous warmth and intensity.

Sage carries the dry, familiar fragrance of the desert landscape.

Juniper brings a crisp, resinous woodland note.

Rosemary rounds the blend with its bright, aromatic character.

Together, they create a steam that feels both cooling and warming, wild and comforting—like rain moving through desert herbs.

How to Use:

Place a small handful of Vapor del Desierto into a heat-safe bowl.

Pour freshly boiled water over the herbs and allow them to steep briefly as the aromatic steam begins to rise.

Settle comfortably near the bowl and breathe normally, enjoying the warmth and botanical aroma. A towel may be loosely draped over the head and bowl if desired to hold some of the vapor around you.

Keep your face at a comfortable distance from the hot water and steam. The steam should feel pleasantly warm, never painfully hot.

When you're finished, return the cooled herbs to the earth or compost them.

A Desert Steam Ritual

Before pouring the water, hold the dry herbs for a moment.

Notice their textures. Crush a little rosemary, peppermint, or juniper between your fingers and notice what rises.

Then add the water.

Watch what was dry become saturated.

Watch the vapor begin to move.

Breathe.

Receive.

Return.

Sometimes ritual doesn't need to be elaborate. Sometimes it is simply hot water, plants, and enough stillness to notice what they awaken.
