Greenthread Tea Bundle

(One Bundle can make 4-5 cups of Tea)

No matter what name you know it by - this tea has been used by ancestors in the SW area for centuries!
Greenthread - Cota - NavajoTea - Thelesperma - HopiTea - Te Silvestre 

The tea has an earthy, mild flavor, which some choose to sweeten by adding sugar or honey. Cota: helps balance the nervous system.

Use about 1 tablespoon of Herb per cup of water.

1. Bring fresh, cold water to a boil. 
2. Remove it from the heat and add the dried Greenthread to the hot water.
   
3. Cover the pot or container with a lid to trap the steam and flavors. Allow the tea to steep for approximately 7 - 10 minutes (less if you prefer a mild flavor). The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor will be, but be cautious not to over-steep, as it might lead to a bitter taste.
4. Strain and serve it hot! You can enjoy it as is or add natural sweeteners like honey or agave nectar.
