Listed as a weed in more than 46 states, Mullein has adapted well to New Mexico’s high altitude and dusty-dry soil and is a regular fixture in fields and gardens alike.
On its second year, "Gordolobo" (Mullein) will bloom, sending up a single, velvety shoot up to six feet tall that produces little yellow flowers. It is one of the first plants to blanket the forest floor after a fire, quickly covering the scars with its leaves.
Historically, mullein has been used as a remedy for the Respiratory Tract, Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) & Earaches.
This Blend of Gordolobo was made with Plants Foraged in the New Mexico Desert. Little by little from diverse patches in the fields. Flowers and Leaves infused in Olive Oil - Slowly & Gently for over 5 months.
