Winter Cycle · Preparing for the Snow Full Moon
Live on Zoom
🗓 Friday,, 2026
⏰ 11:00 AM MST
⏳ 90 minutes
This is the second winter circle in an ongoing ceremonial series rooted in Curanderismo, WindWork®, and ancestral land-based practice.
Although we will again work with corn husk dolls, this is not a repeat of the first gathering.
Each circle carries different seasonal medicine.
Held just before the Snow Full Moon, this workshop focuses on:
* What must be held rather than released. * What needs protection, patience, and quiet strength. * How prayer can move through form, time, and relationship.
This is a ritual space - slow, intentional, and grounded.
🌽 Sacred Corn & Ancestral Story
Corn is not simply a material.
In many Mesoamerican traditions, humans are formed from corn - after several attempts at creation, we become the people of the corn.
We will explore:
* The ancestral significance of corn as kin, not crop
* The story of the faceless corn husk doll, created to remain focused on purpose rather than reflection
* Why dolls are used as vessels for prayer, memory, and intention
🌿 Wind Walks® & Plant Relationship
Participants will be guided in:
* Understanding Wind Walks as a listening practice with land and wind
* How to approach plants with respect and consent
* How to recognize a clear yes, a no, or silence
* What it means to work in relationship rather than extraction
You will gather materials from your own land or surroundings prior to class.
🌕 February Full Moon Teaching
We will explore the Snow Full Moon as a time of:
* Endurance * Protection * Conserving Life Force
Oracle & Wind Guidance
Let's pull a Cardinal Wind Teacher for the year ahead and continue the unfolding cycle begun in January.
✨ This Workshop Is For You If…
* You feel drawn to ritual, story, and land-based practices
* You are comfortable moving slowly and listening deeply
* You want to work with ancestral wisdom without rushing outcomes
* You understand that ceremony unfolds over time
No prior experience required.
All are welcome.

Create a sacred fire

Offer the doll to the fire
Allow the smoke to carry prayers, dreams, and requests
through the Full Moon portal to the ancestors.
